Start your new year out by making the Strathcona Community Policing Centre Chilly Chase your first athletic achievement of the year! EVERYONE is a winner with Try Events' 5K, 10K and Half Marathon participants earn a GREAT souvenir finishing medal.

Race Course Description
The 5K, 10K and Half routes take walkers and runners along an out and back course on the world's longest uninterrupted waterfront path, Vancouver’s Seawall. This is a quick, flat course with a gorgeous winter views of Vancouver!

After you cross the finish line please do not leave the chute until after your tag is removed. It is our goal to have the results posted within 24hrs.

The Chilly Chase is a winter race so please be prepared to run in the cool temperatures, snow, ice and wind.

1. It's dark out there, dress to be seen.

2. Bring a phone with a good charge and some money.

3. Keep your head and hands warm.

4. Wear a base layer.

5. Wear shoes with traction and have Ice Cleats

6. Take smaller strides.
